Confessing the Faith Conference

The Church: Past and Future

September 16-18

Conference Schedule | Speaker | Registration | Music

As citizens of Zion Christians have a long heritage. Regrettably, many of us get lost in questions of identity and in our search for meaning in a (post-) modern world characterized by individualism, lack of connectivity, alienation, and by a phobia of boundaries. As citizen of Zion Christians have a unique identity, share in a rich heritage, and have a sense of mission (purpose) that should set us apart. Regrettably, many of us live like orphans, rather than as citizens of Zion and as children of God.

In this conference, we shall look at the rich heritage of the citizens of Zion as defined by the past and the grand future of Zion as defined by the future, so that we may better understand the present moment that shapes the direction of the church. Fortunately, many of us have a marvelous opportunity to live out of our new identity and to be a countercultural force in our age.
